FISTY should know whether an account belongs to an adult or a minor before social features are enabled. Minor accounts receive a restricted experience by default.
- Age assurance at signup with guardian verification where required.
- No open adult-to-minor discovery, direct messaging or friend requests.
- Family rooms can link verified guardians and minors without opening minors to unrelated adults.
- Minor accounts do not receive behavioral targeted advertising and their personal data is not sold for advertising or marketing.
- Reporting, blocking and safety review are available from rooms, profiles and shared content.
- Camera, reaction and biometric/AR data receive stricter retention controls, especially for minors.
FISTY’s final minor experience should be reviewed by U.S. privacy/cyber-safety counsel before launch. Federal COPPA rules and state laws can impose parental-consent, data-minimization, advertising, age-assurance and deletion requirements.
